FREE Entrance To The Perot Museum And 150+ Other Museums & Zoos (For Bank of America & Merrill Lynch Cardholders)

This year’s Museums on Us program will offer Bank of America/Merrill Lynch bank cardholders FREE admission to the NEW Perot Museum in Dallas as well as the Fort Worth Museum of Science & History on the first Saturday and Sunday of each month (that would be this weekend ~ January 5 & 6).

Did you know that this same FREE admission offer is available at over 150 other cultural venues from coast to coast? As part of Museums on Us, cultural institutions in 94 cities across the country open their doors for FREE to bank cardholders on the first full weekend of each month. FREE access includes some of the country’s best cultural institutions like the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, The Children’s museums in San Antonio and Austin ~ even the Houston Zoo is participating.

will arrive by helicopter at 8:00 AM to join all those in attendance. In addition, this year’s event will feature the FDNY Rescue 4 which responded to the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Rescue 4 now travels around the country as a memorial to those who were lost in the attack.

The National Parks are sponsoring the last FREE entrance days of the year for Veterans Day Weekend, November 10-12. You can enjoy any of our almost 400 National Parks for FREE . Do note that not all national parks charge fees, but those that do will waive their costs these days (for example, $20 a car at Big Bend or $25 a car + $12/person at Yellowstone ). Join Lauren Essl, owner of Fort Worth’s Blue Eye Brown Eye, as she discusses and demonstrates the art of letterpress. Gain inspiration while discussing artworks on view in the galleries, and then create your own letterpress notecards during a crafting session. No reservations are required.
