Enjoy a fun evening with your family and friends at Friday on the Green, a FREE monthly live music series sponsored by Fort Worth South. Bring your blankets and chairs (and even Fido if you want), and enjoy an evening of live music from great bands in a relaxing setting.

:: Visit the Phillips Collection Exhibit At The Carter Museum
Now through January 6, 2013

Georgia O’Keeffe Pattern of Leaves Amon Carter Museum

The Amon Carter museum is hosting a landmark show featuring about 100 masterworks by over sixty-three artists from the The Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C.  This FREE exhibit traces American art from the 19th century through the mid 20th century and features work from familiar names such as Winslow Homer, Edward Hopper, and Georgia O’Keeffe. The Amon Carter is one of only three U.S. museums to host the exhibition; previous touring cities include Madrid, Tokyo and Rovereto, Italy.

Bank of America’s 2012 national program, Museums On Us offers FREE  admission, the first full weekend of every month, to 120 participating museums throughout the U.S.   This FREE Admission program takes place this weekend (November 3 and 4) in Fort Worth at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.

Saturday, November 3, 2012

This Saturday, bring your child to Home Depot’s Kids Workshop to help them learn a new woodworking skill and build their very own Thanksgiving Turkey project to take home. Each Kids Workshop participant will receive a kid-sized orange apron (similar to a Home Depot associate apron) and an achievement pin. All workshops are free, but you should probably show up early to insure you have a kit for your little ones.

Hear classic western music come to life as Cowtown Opry members perform a free music exhibition on the steps of the Livestock Exchange building. This live family friendly music event will take place every Sunday and will feature a different theme each week ~ Western Gospel music will be featured on the 5th Sunday of the month.
