:: FREE Inaugural Events and Exhibit Entrance to The Kimbell’s
…Age of Impressionism: Great French Paintings from the Clark
…Saturday & Sunday, March 10 & 11 (Exhibit through June 17)
This weekend, visitors are invited to a series of FREE inaugural events as part of the opening of the Kimbell Art Museum’s special exhibition of The Age of Impressionism: Great French Paintings from the Clark.

Saturday features three free lectures from leading art scholars. No reservations are required, but seating is limited.

Sunday’s official opening to the public will offer FREE ADMISSION for the first 101 visitors and an afternoon of FREE 19th century music and ballet performances.
About the Exhibit: The Kimbell Art Museum is the sole American venue for this international touring exhibition of the renowned Impressionist collection of the Clark Art Institute. The 73 paintings in the exhibition include some of the most familiar masterpieces of the Impressionist era and features 21 Renoirs and six Monets, along with works by Degas, Manet, Pissarro, Gauguin, Toulouse-Lautrec, and other prominent French painters of the period.

Enjoy the classic story of Huckleberry Finn brought to life onstage at Artisan Theater. Do note that the show will be performed in Sign Language on Monday nights and Saturday matinees. For more info about this live theater production, click here.

Join the Fort Worth Central Library for a free showing of the classic film The Wizard of Oz featuring Judy Garland on Saturday, March 10. This movie showing is part of the Second Saturday Family Film Series which runs monthly family-friendly movies through the end of the year.
