Whether you’re a participant or a spectator, celebrate the 100th birthday of Lake Worth on Saturday at the Centennial Boat Parade! At 11:00am, Mayor Betsy Price will lead the 11-mile parade route of over 100 participating water craft including power boaters, sail boaters, standup paddleboarders, kayakers and canoers.   Lake Worth filled to capacity on Aug. 10, 1914, becoming the largest municipal park in the world. 100 years later, Lake Worth is a sparkling jewel surround by green parkland.

Start your Saturday morning with a free Boot Camp exercise class at the Sundance Square Plaza.  Classes will take place every other Saturday through July 19th and will be presented by Sundance Square and City Club of Fort Worth. Classes are led by Ricky Chavez, a personal trainer and spin instructor. All levels are welcome!

Sunday Funday is a day of family friendly relaxation and fun in the sun at Panther Island Pavilion. Tubes and brand new pedal boats will be available for rent along with kayaks, stand up paddle boards and canoes.  Stand up paddle board classes will be offered every Sunday at 1:00 p.m. — classes are very beginner friendly as long as you’re not afraid to get a little wet.
