SAVE THE DATE: Sharon Young & Ladies Designer Brand Warehouse Sale — February 1-3

It’s almost time for our reader’s favorite fashion bargain event ~ the Ladies Designer Brand Warehouse Sale featuring Sharon Young’s latest winter resort collection.

This direct-from-the-designer sale actually takes place inside the clothing manufacturer’s warehouse (February 1-3) and features thousands of fashion pieces all at deep discount prices.

This huge sale only opens its doors four times a year, and everything is marked down 50% to 75% OFF retail. They have sizes to fit just about anyone ~ from petite to women’s sizes and everything in between. Much of my wardrobe comes from this sale, and I can’t begin tell you how many people ask me where I shop ~ ladies, this is the place.

Shop to Support a Great Cause: Proceeds From The May Sale Benefit a Special Boy’s Upcoming Liver Transplant!

If you have ever shopped the Ladies Designer Brand Warehouse Sale, you have most likely met Kathy Rayford, the lovely and kind treasure who often runs the sale’s cash register area. What you may not know is that Kathy’s 14-year old grandson Kyle is on a waiting list for a liver transplant ~ regretfully, he has been diagnosed with an incurable liver disease called Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) which has many progressive complications including liver failure (learn more about PSC here).

We are so happy to let you know that a portion of the May sales will go towards helping Kyle’s family defray the thousands of dollars in upcoming medical bills for his transplant procedure! Thank you so much for blessing their family and for your care and support.

The Sharon Young & Ladies Designer Brand Warehouse clothing sale is almost here! Our readers’ favorite fashion sale only opens its doors four times a year, and the long-awaited 3-day summer sale starts on Thursday (July 28-30)! The sale will be huge with over 18,000 pieces starting at $20 with sizes to fit just about anyone ~ from petite to women’s plus sizes and everything in between (sizes 2-18 and a stylish selection of 0X-3X).

We just got back from a preview shopping trip, saved a bundle (50 to 75% off regular retail!), and went home with some gorgeous clothes usually only found at higher end ladies boutiques and department stores at higher prices. The racks were already packed, and even more beautiful pieces were coming into the warehouse during our visit!

The sale covers a huge selection and variety of styles and sizes, from trendy to traditional and from “running to the grocery store” casual to night-on-the-town dressy.

You’ll find everything you need to complete an outfit including tops, skirts, pants, and jackets ~ all $20 to $60. And, even though the sale is huge, everything is very organized into collections, making it easy to navigate the sale. Brands you’ll see include the new high-end boutique John Mark line (most John Mark pieces are at least 60% off!), Sharon Young, Multiples, Tru Luxe jeans and tops, Ali Miles, Slim-Sations, A La Carte, the new Bette & Court and Sport Haley luxury golf brands, and more.

~ Don’t miss the silky soft fabrics in the new fashion performance and golf athletic lines from brands Sport Haley and Bette & Court. Everything from shorts & skorts to tops & jackets are made in moisture wicking and performance fabrics — ideal for a day on the golf course or just a walk around the block. ~

~ And last, but definitely not least, we found 3 rows of our favorite Slim-Sation brand pants, crops, and shorts. Wow! ~

Psssssst… Slim-Sation is the same line of pants carried by a high-end travel clothing/online catalog store for almost TWICE as much as you’ll find them at this sale. We can’t reveal the name of the store, but doing a little Google search might tell you (wink-wink). Slim-Sation pants have a little inside tummy smoothing panel that make you look a size smaller ~ our “go to” favorites for comfort and fit.

The sale opens its doors for just 3 days to the public, and it starts this Thursday (runs April 28-30). We had so much fun on our preview trip and found so many goodies that it was hard to choose!

Books, CDs and More as Low as 50 Cents — Friends Of The Fort Worth Library Sale

Book lovers — be sure and make time for the Friends of the Fort Worth Public Library twice a year sale — April 22-24 & May 7. During this bargain basement public sale, you’ll be able to choose from thousands of preloved fiction and non-fiction books, audio books, children’s books, music CDs, and more. There are always GREAT deals to be found at this sale (most items are priced between $0.50 and $1.50), and because all proceeds benefit the Fort Worth library system, all purchases will be tax-free as well!

Here’s the scoop…

Public Sale ($1 admission; children and members free)
Friday, April 22, 9 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 23, 9 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

$15 “All You Can Fit in a Box” Sale (boxes provided)
Sunday, April 24, 9 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Garage Sale, Plus $15 All You Can Fit in a Box Sale (boxes provided)
Fixtures and gift items from the warehouse will be sold and there will be another $15 a box day on remaining books.
Saturday, May 7, 9 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Where: The Friends of the Fort Worth Public Library sale is located at 5314 and 5318 Trail Lake Drive ~ three doors north of the Friends Book Store in the Wedgwood Village Shopping Center (South on Trail Lake Drive, off Loop 820).

Don’t Miss The Ladies Designer Brand Warehouse Clothing Sale — Starts Thursday, February 4

Just a little reminder that the Sharon Young & Ladies Designer Brand Warehouse Sale opens its doors to the public this Thursday (Feb. 4-6)! We popped over for a preview and found SO MANY great finds. As promised, we are sharing some of our favorite bargains — even lots of insider tips you’ll want to know before you go!

Here’s the inside scoop on the sale:

This direct from the designer sale only opens its doors to the public four times a year, and the sale runs this Thursday to Saturday, February 4 to 6. Everything is deeply discounted OFF retail (prices starting at $20), and you’ll find a variety of styles and sizes to fit just about anyone.

Here are a few insider tips to find the best deals when you go:

Insider Tip #1: For the best selection, go to the sale as soon as you can. Some styles/sizes are limited in quantity and sell out fast — the earlier you can go, the better.

Insider Tip #2: There will be a surprise “Buy One Get One FREE” deal you’ll want to ask about (note that this is offered on Thursday and Friday only).

Insider Tip #3: The sale offers wonderful statement pieces and wonderful wardrobe basics too. Be sure and look for reversible and convertible styles to stretch your wardrobe (like the fantastic blue and black poncho above that can be worn 3 different ways, providing several looks from this one piece – LOVE!).

We found lots of fabulous finds including the reversible black and white brocade poncho below AND a reversible pair of tailored knit pants (Yes ~ reversible pants!) from Sharon Young — solid black on one side and reverses to heather gray on the other — savvy travel-worthy and so comfortable too!

Insider Tip #4: There are sizes to fit and flatter just about everyone — you’ll find Petite size 2 to Women’s Plus sizes and everything in between. A special note on sizes — if you know anyone looking for fashion-forward Women’s plus sizes, be sure and bring them with you to this February sale! We saw TWO, very long rows dedicated to wonderful plus-size fashions (that’s a few thousand 0X-3X pieces from which to choose)!

Insider Tip #5: Almost everything throughout the sale is grouped by collection, making it easy to find coordinating pieces and mix-and-match a complete outfit.

Insider Tip #6: Be sure and look for the big section of our favorite “Slim-Sation” pants and tights (you’ll find them pretty close to the center area of the sale). Slim-sation pants have a little inside tummy smoothing panel that make you look a size smaller (yes, please!). These have become our “go to” favorites as they are no-fuss machine washable, comfortable, and have a fantastic fit.

Pssst…Slim-sation is the same line of pants carried by a high-end travel clothing/online catalog store for almost TWICE as much as you’ll find them at this sale. We can’t reveal the name of the store, but doing a little Google search might tell you (wink-wink).

Insider Tip #7: Look for the section of Tru Luxe jeans, crops, and casual tops –– these high-end jeans are very deeply discounted to at least 60% off retail ($40 at this sale vs. the usual $100 price tag at retail stores)! We appreciate that the Tru Luxe jeans section is organized by size, making it simple to find the right pair and fit among the many style choices.

Insider Tip #8: There are over 19,000 pieces in this sale at 50% to 75% off retail, so wear comfortable shopping shoes! You’ll find tops, skirts, pants, and jackets from boutique quality and high-end department store designers. Look for favorite designer brands like Sharon Young, Tru Luxe, Ali Miles, and Multiples ~ prices start at $20 and nothing is over $60.
