:: SATURDAY, JULY 2 ~ DFW FIREWORKS EVENTS

Granbury
What: Granbury Old-Fashioned 4th of July Weekend Celebration
Enjoy a weekend of old-fashioned patriotic events in Granbury, including live music, community parade, kids activities, fireworks over the lake, and more. Voted one of the top 5 best fireworks shows in Texas.
Where: Granbury ~ Events take place in various locations with fireworks over the lake.  Go here for specific event schedules and locations.
When: July 2-4, Fireworks show begins at dusk on July 4 (about 9:45PM). Go here for a complete schedule of events.

:: SUNDAY, JULY 3 ~ DFW FIREWORKS EVENTS

Addison
What: Kaboom Town in Addison
Rated one of the top places to watch fireworks in the country by the American Pyrotechnics Association, USA Today, Travel + Leisure and The Wall Street Journal, the nationally recognized fireworks show can be seen from anywhere in Addison.  The 30-minute fireworks show is choreographed to music and a live radio simulcast on 100.3 JACK FM. Plus there is food, live music and the spectacular Addison Airport Air Show with skydivers and more.
Where: The fireworks display and the Addison Airport Airshow can be seen from almost anywhere in Addison. Go here for a list of fireworks watch party locations.
When: July 3, 5:00PM to Midnight ~ Addison Airport show begins at 7:30PM and Fireworks start about 9:30PM

Arlington
What: Light Up Arlington Fireworks Show
Live music, kids area, bounce houses, petting zoo, face painting and games set up along several city blocks in Arlington. Features a music-enhanced fireworks show from atop City Hall, set to music from 95.9 The Ranch.
Where: Downtown Arlington. Go here for a map.
When: July 3, 6:0oPM – 10:30PM (Fireworks at 9:45)
Cost: FREE! Note that some activities like the petting zoo require a small fee.

Granbury
What:
 Granbury Old-Fashioned 4th of July Weekend Celebration

What: Independence Day Celebration
Enjoy a night of family fun with bounce houses, rock climbing wall, train rides, fireworks, food, music and more! Live music by Professor D.
Where: Roanoke Community Park ~ 201 Park Dr.  Complimentary shuttles will be available at the park entrance.
When: July 3. Family activities begin at 6pm and fireworks at dusk.

Southlake
What: Stars & Stripes Southlake Event and Fireworks Show
Kids zone activities, balloon artists,  live music/entertainment, fireworks celebration and more!
Where: Southlake Town Square
When: July 3, Family Activities begin at 6:00PM. Patriotic ceremony and fireworks will start at 9:30PM.
Cost: FREE!

:: MONDAY, JULY 4 ~ DFW FIREWORKS EVENTS

Arlington
What: 51st Annual Arlington Independence Day Parade.
Experience the oldest event in Arlington and one of the largest 4th of July parades in Texas!
Where:
Downtown Arlington – see parade route here.
When: July 4, Begins at 9:00AM
Cost: FREE!

Bedford
What: City of Bedford’s Independence Day Celebration
This 4th FEST will feature free live music entertainment, a variety of themed family friendly activities, a classic car show, festival food and spectacular fireworks when the sun goes down.
Where: 2801 Forest Ridge Road ~ Bedford Boys Ranch Park.  Go here for parking details.
When: July 4, 12:00PM to 11:00PM, fireworks at 10:00PM
Cost: FREE! Swimming at Bedford’s Splash Aquatic Center is Admission is $6.50 for adults, $5.50 for kids under 18 and free for children two years old and younger. On site parking is $15-20.

Burleson
What: City of Burleson’s Independence Day Celebration
Live rock concert by Journey Tribute Band, “Escape,” and fireworks show.
Where: Chisenhall Fields Sports Complex
500 W. Hidden Creek Pkwy
When: July 4 ~ The gates open at 5PM, the concert starts at 7:30PM and the fireworks at 9:20PM.
Cost: FREE!

Dallas
What: Fair Park Fourth Celebration

The City of Dallas’ official Independence Day celebration at Fair Park will feature  spectacular fireworks at the Cotton Bowl, “dancing water” shows at the Esplanade Fountain, entertainment, kids activities, midway games, and a variety of live music. Access to concession stands will be available throughout Fair Park.
Where: Fair Park in Dallas ~ 1121 First Ave • Dallas
When: July 4 ~ 9:00AM to 10:00PM. Fireworks start at 9:30PM.
Cost: FREE!  Parking is $10 at Fair Park Gates 5, 6, 10 and 11.

Flower Mound
What: Independence Day Festival & Fireworks Show
This fun family event features live music from legendary 80s rock band, Loverboy, the Lewisville ISD children’s parade, Kid’s Zone activities (complete with bounce houses, face painting, and more), vintage auto show, and a great fireworks show!
Where: Flower Mound ~ Go here for directions and parking info.
When: July 4, Children’s Parade begins at 10:00AM, Gates for the festival activities will open at 5PM and fireworks begin at dusk.
Cost: FREE!

Fort Worth Fourth Fireworks

Fort Worth
What: Fort Worth’s Fourth Family Event
This fireworks show promises to be one of the largest and best in the metroplex! It offers an evening of free music, family fun, F-16 flyover, flyboard shows, zipline, bounce houses, miniature golf, festival food, huge fireworks display, and lots more! You can even cool off in the Trinity River with kayaking and free river-tubing — tubes are free but supplies are limited, so feel free to bring your own.
When: July 4, Festival and shows starts at 2:00PM.  Fireworks shoot off at 10:00PM. See the complete schedule here.
Where: On the Trinity River, at Panther Island Pavilion.  Go here for directions and parking.


Local Traffic Tips: With an anticipated crowd of more than 100,000 for the various Fort Worth 4th of July events, the Fort Worth Police Department has put together a traffic plan to make it quicker and safer to get to and from Panther Island (or other downtown Fort Worth event locations).  Go here to learn more.
Cost: FREE!  Parking at Panther Island varies from $5 to $10.

Fort Worth Stockyards
What: 4th of July Family Event at the Stockyards
Celebrate the Fourth in the Fort Worth Stockyards! Activities include face-painting for kids, live music, and a Legends of Texas gunfight show after each cattle drive — all inside Stockyards Station!

Where:  Fort Worth Stockyards
Cost: FREE!

Frisco
What: Frisco Freedom Fest
Fireworks, food, live music, children’s activities (bounce house, games, face painting, etc.), 5K run, street entertainment, and more.  Be sure to bring a blanket or lawn chair and for the fireworks show.
Where: Simpson Plaza at City Hall, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd.  Fireworks are visible around Frisco City Hall and Toyota Stadium (the corner of Dallas Parkway and Main Street).
When: July 4, Begins at 4:00PM, Fireworks at 10:00PM (approx.)
Cost: FREE!

Granbury
What: Granbury Old-Fashioned 4th of July Weekend Celebration

Grapevine
What: 34th Annual Fireworks Extravaganza

Celebrate America’s birthday at Grapevine’s July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza! Be prepared to be astonished by the 26-minute fireworks spectacular, which can be viewed from almost any lakeside location as well as several other places throughout Grapevine including Gaylord Texan Resort’s parking garage (with a parking fee), Admission is free at most viewing locations. 
Where:
Best fireworks viewing locations are Oak Grove Park and Rockledge Park on Lake Grapevine (map here) or on top of the parking garage at the Gaylord Texan Resort — our favorite spot, but there is a parking fee.
Local Traffic Tips:  In the interest of public safety, the City of Grapevine will be shutting down Fairway Drive between State Highway 26 E. and Silveron Blvd. on July 4th. beginning at 9 p.m. Additionally, parking along Fairway Drive will be prohibited.
When: July 4, Fireworks start at 9:30PM
Cost: FREE! Note that some parks along Lake Grapevine, as well as the Gaylord Texan, charge an admission fee of $5 to $15 per vehicle (good news — most parks are free).  Also, note that a few parks (info here) are closed due to high waters.

Irving/Las Colinas
What: Irving’s Firecracker Fourth
Join the City of Irving for the annual two-part celebration of America’s independence.  The fun begins with a community parade followed by a reception at Heritage Park.  Finish the day with an evening festival, showcasing live music, food, a Fun Zone, and fireworks spectacular.
Where: Go here for the parade route.  Fireworks will take place on the south side of  Lake Carolyn ~ 601 E. Las Colinas Blvd. For the updated fireworks show parking map, go here.
When: July 4 ~ Parade begins at 9:00AM. |  Pre-fireworks family event and entertainment begins at 6:00PM & fireworks at 9:30PM.  Parking gate opens at 5:00PM.
Cost: FREE!  Parking is $10/car, cash only

Lewisville
What: Red White & Lewisville Fireworks Show
The city’s annual fireworks show, Red White & Lewisville, will return with a pow and flash on Monday, July 4.
Where: For Fireworks, the best viewing area is on the south side of Vista Ridge Mall, between the mall and  State Highway 121.
When: July 4, The show is scheduled to start after sunset, about 9:30 p.m.
Cost: FREE!

Northeast Tarrant County Family 4th Celebration and Fireworks Show — Sponsored by the Cities of Haltom City, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, and Watauga
What: Family 4th Celebration
Celebrate Independence Day at the multi-city Family 4th Celebration.  Festivities include kid’s activities, bounce houses, contests, a salute to veterans, stage performances and festival food.
Where: The Hills Shopping Center (6351 Highway 26)
or Wiley G Thomas Coliseum (6108 Broadway in Haltom City).
When: July 4, Come early, get a great parking spot and enjoy family entertainment starting at 5:00PM. Free concert begins at 8:00PM. and fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

Fireworks, family fun, food and music by retro disco band, Le Freak (returning by popular demand). Family activities include  bounce houses, rock climbing wall, train rides, games and more.
Where: Roanoke Community Park ~ 201 Park Dr.   A map has been provided of the available parking lots on Roanoke’s Facebook page.
When: July 3. Family activities begin at 6pm and fireworks at dusk.

Southlake

Cost: FREE!  You will need a wristband for Cotton Bowl entry (available at information booths while supplies last).  Parking is $5 at Fair Park Gates 5, 6, 10 and 11.

Flower Mound
What: Independence Day Festival & Fireworks Show
This fun family event features live music from legendary classic rock band, KANSAS, children’s parade, Kid’s Zone activities, vintage auto show, art show, exhibitors, and a great fireworks show.
Where: Flower Mound’s Bakersfield Park, 1201 Duncan Lane
When: July 4, Children’s Parade begins at 10:00AM, Gates for the festival activities will open at 5PM, Kansas plays at 8:15PM and fireworks begin at dusk.
Cost: FREE!

Fort Worth Fourth Fireworks

Fort Worth
What: Fort Worth’s Fourth Family Event
This fireworks show promises to be one of the largest and best in the metroplex! It offers an evening of free music, family fun, new jet ski and flyboard shows, zipline, bounce houses, miniature golf, food trucks,  fireworks, and lots more! You can even cool off in the Trinity River with kayaking and free river-tubing — tubes are free but supplies are limited, so feel free to bring your own.

Uncle Sam invites everyone to join him for a parade. Children can dress in America’s colors and decorate tricycles, strollers or wagons [no bikes allowed] in red, white and blue. The parade starts in Vista Ridge Mall’s Center Court and ends where a DJ will rock the mall with music and host fun games with prizes. Crafts with a patriotic theme along with face painting will also be a part of the festivities.
Where: Learn more about the family events and parade at Vista Ridge Mall here. For Fireworks, the best viewing area is on the south side of Vista Ridge Mall, between the mall and the Sam Rayburn Tollway.
When: July 4, Parade and all activities will begin at 11:00am and end at 2:00pm; fireworks begin at 9:30PM.

Ranked as the largest free outdoor concert & fireworks show in America, this event will feature 23 music artists including SwitchFoot, Mandisa, Toby Mac, and more.

Burleson
What: City of Burleson’s Independence Day Celebration
Parade, 90-minute live concert by The Spazmatics, fireworks show, and more.
Where: Chisenhall Fields Sports Complex
500 W. Hidden Creek Pkwy
When: July 4 ~ Parade starts at 9:00AM. Gates to Chisenhall  Complex will open at 5:00PM.  Fireworks at 9:20PM.

Dallas
What: Fair Park Fourth Celebration
The City of Dallas’ official Independence Day celebration at Fair Park will feature spectacular fireworks at the Cotton Bowl, kids activities, a variety of live bands, and a patriotic concert by the Dallas Wind Symphony.
Where: Fair Park in Dallas
When: July 4 ~ 4:30 to 11:30PM. Fireworks start at 9:30PM.
Cost: FREE!  You will need a wristband for Cotton Bowl entry (available at information booths while supplies last).

Flower Mound
What: Independence Day Festival & Fireworks Show
This fun family event features live music from Rick Springfield, Kid’s Zone activities, vintage auto show, art show, exhibitors, and a great fireworks show.
Where: Flower Mound’s Bakersfield Park, 1201 Duncan Lane
When: July 4, 5:00-10:30PM, Rick Springfield plays at 8:15PM and fireworks begin at 9:45PM
Cost: The evening program, fireworks show, and parking at Bakersfield Park are FREE!

Fort Worth
What: City of Fort Worth’s Fourth Of July Fireworks
This fireworks show promises to be one of the largest and best in the metroplex!  
Fireworks will honor the 25th anniversary of the Fort Worth sister city relationship with Nagaoka, Japan and will feature special effects like no other! It will be an evening of free music, family activities, bounce houses, miniature golf, jet ski shows, food trucks,  fireworks, and lots more! You can even cool off in the Trinity River with the river-tubing event — tubes are free but supplies are limited so feel free to bring your own.
Where: On the Trinity River, at Panther Island Pavilion.  Address for parking is 1098 West Peach St.  Go here for a map.
When: July 4, Festival starts at 2:00PM. Fireworks begin at 9:30PM (approx.).

Frisco
What: Frisco Freedom Fest

Granbury
What: Granbury Old-Fashioned 4th of July Fireworks Show
“1776” Musical on the Courthouse steps, live band, kids activities fireworks, and more. Voted one of the top 5 best fireworks shows in Texas.
Where: Events take place around town with fireworks over the lake.

What: 31st Annual Fireworks Extravaganza
Where:
Grapevine Lake (our favorite viewing spot is from the Gaylord Texan Hotel. A map of viewing sites around Grapevine Lake can be be found here
Worth noting: 
In the interest of public safety, the City of Grapevine will be shutting down Fairway Drive between State Highway 26 E. and Silveron Blvd. on July 4th. beginning at 9 p.m. Additionally, parking along Fairway Drive will be prohibited.
When: July 4, Fireworks start at 9:30PM
Cost: FREE! Note that some parks may charge a small admission fee.

Lewisville
What: Red White & Lewisville Fireworks Show
Uncle Sam invites everyone to join him for a parade. Children can dress in America’s colors and decorate tricycles, strollers or wagons [no bikes allowed] in red, white and blue. The parade starts in Vista Ridge Mall’s Center Court and ends where a DJ will rock the mall with music and host fun games with prizes. Crafts with a patriotic theme along with face painting will also be a part of the festivities.
Where: Vista Ridge Mall ~  The best viewing opportunities for the fireworks will be on the South side of the mall and along the 121 Bypass.
When: July 4, Parade and all activities will begin at 11:00am and end at 3:00pm; fireworks begin at 9:30PM.

North Richland Hills & Haltom City
What: Family 4th Celebration
Celebrate Independence Day at the Family 4th Celebration.  Festivities include carnival rides, performances on the community stage, and festival food. The fireworks show will include 20 minutes of dazzling pyrotechnics. Patriotic music will be simulcast on KTCU 88.7 fm.
Where: The Hills Shopping Center (6351 Highway 26)
or WG Thomas Coliseum (6108 Broadway in Haltom City).

Grapevine
What: 28th Annual Fireworks Extravaganza
Where:
  Grapevine Lake (our favorite viewing spot is from the Gaylord
Texan Hotel. A map of viewing sites around Grapevine Lake can be
be found here.
When: July 4, 9:30PM
Cost: FREE (though some parks may charge a small admissions fee). 

Irving/Las Colinas
What: Irving’s Firecracker Fourth
Fireworks over Lake Caroline and patriotic music from the Irving Symphony Orchestra
Where: Las Colinas, Williams Square (the building with the
beautiful horse statue in the plaza), 5221 N. O’Connor Blvd
When: July 4, Gates and entertainment begin at 5:00PM.
Symphony concert begins at 8:00PM, followed by fireworks at 9:30PM
Cost: FREE! Parking in Williams Square Towers is $5.

 Lewisville
What: Red White & Lewisville Fireworks Show
Where: The best viewing opportunities will be on the South side of Vista Ridge Mall and along the 121 Bypass.
When: July 4, 9:30PM
Cost: FREE!
