Addison
What: Kaboom Town in Addison
Rated one of the top places to watch fireworks in the country by the American Pyrotechnics Association, USA Today, Travel + Leisure and The Wall Street Journal, the nationally recognized fireworks show can be seen from anywhere in Addison. The 30-minute fireworks show is choreographed to music and a live radio simulcast on 100.3 JACK FM. Plus there is food, live music and the spectacular Addison Airport Air Show with skydivers and more.

What: Light Up Arlington Fireworks Show
Live music, kids area, bounce houses, petting zoo, face painting and games set up along several city blocks in Arlington. Features a music-enhanced fireworks show from atop City Hall, set to music from 95.9 The Ranch.

Granbury

What: Independence Day Celebration
Enjoy a night of family fun with bounce houses, rock climbing wall, train rides, fireworks, food, music and more! Live music by Professor D.

What: Stars & Stripes Southlake Event and Fireworks Show

:: MONDAY, JULY 4 ~ DFW FIREWORKS EVENTS
Arlington
What: 51st Annual Arlington Independence Day Parade.
Experience the oldest event in Arlington and one of the largest 4th of July parades in Texas!

Bedford
What: City of Bedford’s Independence Day Celebration
This 4th FEST will feature free live music entertainment, a variety of themed family friendly activities, a classic car show, festival food and spectacular fireworks when the sun goes down.
Where: 2801 Forest Ridge Road ~ Bedford Boys Ranch Park. Go here for parking details.
When: July 4, 12:00PM to 11:00PM, fireworks at 10:00PM
Cost: FREE! Swimming at Bedford’s Splash Aquatic Center is Admission is $6.50 for adults, $5.50 for kids under 18 and free for children two years old and younger. On site parking is $15-20.
Burleson
What: City of Burleson’s Independence Day Celebration
Live rock concert by Journey Tribute Band, “Escape,” and fireworks show.
Where: Chisenhall Fields Sports Complex
500 W. Hidden Creek Pkwy
When: July 4 ~ The gates open at 5PM, the concert starts at 7:30PM and the fireworks at 9:20PM.

Dallas
What: Fair Park Fourth Celebration
The City of Dallas’ official Independence Day celebration at Fair Park will feature spectacular fireworks at the Cotton Bowl, “dancing water” shows at the Esplanade Fountain, entertainment, kids activities, midway games, and a variety of live music. Access to concession stands will be available throughout Fair Park.
Where: Fair Park in Dallas ~ 1121 First Ave • Dallas
When: July 4 ~ 9:00AM to 10:00PM. Fireworks start at 9:30PM.
Cost: FREE! Parking is $10 at Fair Park Gates 5, 6, 10 and 11.
Flower Mound
What: Independence Day Festival & Fireworks Show
This fun family event features live music from legendary 80s rock band, Loverboy, the Lewisville ISD children’s parade, Kid’s Zone activities (complete with bounce houses, face painting, and more), vintage auto show, and a great fireworks show!

When: July 4, Children’s Parade begins at 10:00AM, Gates for the festival activities will open at 5PM and fireworks begin at dusk.

Fort Worth
What: Fort Worth’s Fourth Family Event
This fireworks show promises to be one of the largest and best in the metroplex! It offers an evening of free music, family fun, F-16 flyover, flyboard shows, zipline, bounce houses, miniature golf, festival food, huge fireworks display, and lots more! You can even cool off in the Trinity River with kayaking and free river-tubing — tubes are free but supplies are limited, so feel free to bring your own.
When: July 4, Festival and shows starts at 2:00PM. Fireworks shoot off at 10:00PM. See the complete schedule here.

Local Traffic Tips: With an anticipated crowd of more than 100,000 for the various Fort Worth 4th of July events, the Fort Worth Police Department has put together a traffic plan to make it quicker and safer to get to and from Panther Island (or other downtown Fort Worth event locations). Go here to learn more.

Fort Worth Stockyards
What: 4th of July Family Event at the Stockyards
Celebrate the Fourth in the Fort Worth Stockyards! Activities include face-painting for kids, live music, and a Legends of Texas gunfight show after each cattle drive — all inside Stockyards Station!

Frisco
What: Frisco Freedom Fest
Fireworks, food, live music, children’s activities (bounce house, games, face painting, etc.), 5K run, street entertainment, and more. Be sure to bring a blanket or lawn chair and for the fireworks show.
Where: Simpson Plaza at City Hall, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Fireworks are visible around Frisco City Hall and Toyota Stadium (the corner of Dallas Parkway and Main Street).
When: July 4, Begins at 4:00PM, Fireworks at 10:00PM (approx.)

Granbury

Grapevine
What: 34th Annual Fireworks Extravaganza.
Celebrate America’s birthday at Grapevine’s July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza! Be prepared to be astonished by the 26-minute fireworks spectacular, which can be viewed from almost any lakeside location as well as several other places throughout Grapevine including Gaylord Texan Resort’s parking garage (with a parking fee), Admission is free at most viewing locations.
Where: Best fireworks viewing locations are Oak Grove Park and Rockledge Park on Lake Grapevine (map here) or on top of the parking garage at the Gaylord Texan Resort — our favorite spot, but there is a parking fee.
Local Traffic Tips: In the interest of public safety, the City of Grapevine will be shutting down Fairway Drive between State Highway 26 E. and Silveron Blvd. on July 4th. beginning at 9 p.m. Additionally, parking along Fairway Drive will be prohibited.
When: July 4, Fireworks start at 9:30PM
Cost: FREE! Note that some parks along Lake Grapevine, as well as the Gaylord Texan, charge an admission fee of $5 to $15 per vehicle (good news — most parks are free). Also, note that a few parks (info here) are closed due to high waters.
Irving/Las Colinas
What: Irving’s Firecracker Fourth
Join the City of Irving for the annual two-part celebration of America’s independence. The fun begins with a community parade followed by a reception at Heritage Park. Finish the day with an evening festival, showcasing live music, food, a Fun Zone, and fireworks spectacular.
Where: Go here for the parade route. Fireworks will take place on the south side of Lake Carolyn ~ 601 E. Las Colinas Blvd. For the updated fireworks show parking map, go here.
When: July 4 ~ Parade begins at 9:00AM. | Pre-fireworks family event and entertainment begins at 6:00PM & fireworks at 9:30PM. Parking gate opens at 5:00PM.

Lewisville
What: Red White & Lewisville Fireworks Show
The city’s annual fireworks show, Red White & Lewisville, will return with a pow and flash on Monday, July 4.
Where: For Fireworks, the best viewing area is on the south side of Vista Ridge Mall, between the mall and State Highway 121.
When: July 4, The show is scheduled to start after sunset, about 9:30 p.m.
Cost: FREE!
Northeast Tarrant County Family 4th Celebration and Fireworks Show — Sponsored by the Cities of Haltom City, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, and Watauga
What: Family 4th Celebration
Celebrate Independence Day at the multi-city Family 4th Celebration. Festivities include kid’s activities, bounce houses, contests, a salute to veterans, stage performances and festival food.
Where: The Hills Shopping Center (6351 Highway 26)
or Wiley G Thomas Coliseum (6108 Broadway in Haltom City).
When: July 4, Come early, get a great parking spot and enjoy family entertainment starting at 5:00PM. Free concert begins at 8:00PM. and fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
