The jolly old elf will be waiting to hear Christmas wishes at his home near the towering 59-foot Sundance Square Christmas tree, beautifully adorned with thousands of lights. Fort Worth Sister Cities International invites you to take your photo with Santa and is offering guests a photo with Santa for a $10 donation (cash only please) which will go towards youth programs. You are also welcome to bring your personal camera to take photos if you prefer.

The Settlement to City Museums are a collection of four new museums including the Keeling House Museum, the Donald Schoolhouse, the Cotton Ginners Museum and the Grapevine Historical Museum located within the Grapevine Ice House, all of which tell the story of Grapevine.

Recycle Old Holiday Lights — Where to Drop Off in Fort Worth


Christmas Light Recycing Fort Worth


Do you have a pile of burned-out Christmas lights sitting around in the garage? Are you replacing old light strands with energy-efficient LED lights? Don’t throw out your old lights — recycle them at one of Fort Worth’s free Christmas light recycling locations.

Drop off unwanted lights at a Fort Worth drop-off station by January 31:

  • Brennan Drop-off Station, 2400 Brennan Ave.
  • Southeast Drop-off Station, 5150 Martin Luther King Freeway.
  • Old Hemphill Road Drop-off Station, 6260 Old Hemphill Road.

The stations are open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. Closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Stations close at 5 p.m. the day before holidays.

The Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts and Dorothy Shaw Bell Choir will perform The Littlest Wiseman, a pageant of the Nativity presented through December 13th. The jolly old elf will be waiting to hear Christmas wishes at his home near the towering 59-foot Sundance Square Christmas tree, beautifully adorned with thousands of lights. Fort Worth Sister Cities International invites you to take your photo with Santa and is offering guests a photo with Santa for a $10 donation (cash only please) which will go towards youth programs. You are also welcome to bring your personal camera to take photos if you prefer.

Lectures include eminent scholars, Gloria Groom, Curator ~ Art Institute of Chicago,  Michael Marrinan, professor of art history at Stanford University, and Nicole R. Myers, associate curator of European painting and sculpture, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City.
