Bring a blanket and lawn chairs and enjoy Astro Boy on the big
screen, under the stars at Johnson Road Park Amphitheater in Keller.  The
movie will begin at 9:00 PM (or as soon as the sun goes down). Get there
early to find a good spot and enjoy a variety of family games and activities.

Spend Saturday evenings this summer at Southlake Town Square listening
to some of the area’s greatest talents. This week’s line-up features the
music group, BluPrint with their family friendly and danceable music.             

Bring your own blanket and lawn chairs for a fun and relaxing evening
with your family. You’ll hear r & b, funk, blues, jazz and more. Light
refreshments will be sold (but alcoholic beverages and glass containers
are not allowed).

Bring your fishing pole, favorite bait, and an adult fishing buddy for
a morning of easy casting for catfish at Bear Creek Park in Keller. 
Texas Parks and Wildlife and Keller Parks and Recreation join together to
sponsor a fun time of family fishing and other events including contests
and prizes.  Open to anglers ages 16 and younger.

available to help you and your family navigate your way through
the skies.

    Historic Log Cabin Village

Have some fun Texas Pioneer Village style!
Visit Fort Worth’s own authentic Pioneer Log Cabin Village, and play
games the way Texans did in the 1800s. They will have rolling hoops,
Jacob’s Ladders, buzz saws, graces, mancala, jacks, and more! Kids will
even be able to make their own toy to take home. No reservations required.

activities, and more!

the Green, a FREE monthly live music series rolled out by Fort Worth
South

enjoy an evening of live music from great bands in a relaxing setting.

experiences including roping, sorting, saddling, cattle drive demonstrations

admission, the first full weekend of every month, to 120 participating
museums throughout the U.S.      

This FREE Admission program takes place this weekend (June 5 & 6) in
Fort Worth at the recently renovated Fort Worth Museum of Science

. If you have not visited the museum since it reopened

REMINDER: FREE Family Funday at the Amon Carter Sunday Afternoon

The Amon Carter museum, a local jewel of a spot, is offering a fun afternoon for the whole family with their program, “What a Wonderful World.” 

WhatThe Carter’s “Funday” program will offer FREE art-making and other fun activities for kids.  Discover how artwork is used to share stories, connect communities, and inspire our imaginations!

When:  Sunday, August 9, 2009 ~ 1:00PM to 4:00PM
