In the Market for Fresh Produce? Here’s your Source ~ Links to TDA CERTIFIED Locally Grown Farmers Markets

                                                  Farmers Market

One of my favorite things about summer is all the wonderful fresh fruits
and veggies from our hard working local farmers.  If those aisles and piles
of produce bring a smile to your face too, you just might enjoy this “reprint”
post from our blog last year.

                                                                      ::

 I just learned that the Texas Department of Agriculture certifies Farmers’
Markets all over Texas! Who knew?

I also discovered a couple of helpful links that make it simple to find these
markets and the freshest locally grown produce.

Note: Some markets are seasonal and certain products are subject to availability. Always check before making the trip.

Enjoy and Share! :)

WEEKEND FUN OPTION #2:
Plan a Trip to Your Local Farmers’ Market

Farmers Market

Over the last few weeks, I have reviewed a few of our area’s farmers’ markets that specialize in selling locally grown produce.  These markets sell a variety of other treats, too…you can score fresh bread, goat milk cheese, fresh roasted coffee beans, hot tamales and homemade soap…all locally made. Pick one to attend Saturday morning and fill your frig with fresh produce goodness.
