If you are a Kindle owner, Amazon has added lots of new titles to their FREE Kindle Owners’ Lending Library ~ a nifty benefit that started for Kindle owners last fall.  There are thousands of books to borrow for FREE with no due dates.

The list continues to ramp up with almost 150,000 free-to-borrow titles available (last fall they kicked off with 5,000 titles)  from just about every genre including New York Times bestsellers, novels, children’s books, cookbooks, fiction, nonfiction and lots more.

Hurry over to the Friends of the Fort Worth Public Library Biannual Book Sale this weekend and you’ll be able to choose from thousands of books, CDs, audio books, and children’s books.  Friday and Saturday, most items will be priced under $1.  Sunday will feature “$10 a Box Day” when you can fill a box provided by the store with as many items as you like and pay $10 for everything. Admission to the sale is $1 (there is no charge for members or children).

Half Price Bookstore ~ FREE Books For Kids (For Nonprofits)

Please pass this along to anyone you know who might benefit:  Non profit organizations from DFW can pick up free children’s books during a special giveaway event at Half Price Books. The books were donated by the community and matched by Half Price Books during their 14th annual Half Pint Library book drive. Any not-for-profit organization that can use or distribute children’s books (this includes most schools) is invited to stop by and get books while supplies last.
