43% OFF Kindle Bundle $79.99 — Save $59 on a 6″ Kindle E-Reader With Bonus Protective Cover & More

This Kindle bundle deal was so popular with our readers last year, that when we discovered it would be offered again for a short time, we wanted to be sure to let our readers know (perfect timing for Mother’s Day, graduation, and end-of-school gifts!). Note that Amazon is targeting this bundle towards parents, but this is the regular 6″ Kindle that, just by itself, normally retails for $99.99, but without all the nice bundle freebies in this deal.

LIMITED TIME — Amazon has their Kindle for Kid’s Bundle at a DEEP discount of 43% OFF — just $79.99 (a savings of $59). The bundle includes 1.) a glare-free 6″ Kindle wi-fi e-reader ($99.99 regular price)  2.)  an extended 2-year accident protection that protects against drops or spills (valued at $19.99), and 3.) an ergonomic protective cover (valued at $19.99). This is the best deal available for this Kindle 6″ edition!

“SECRET SAUCE” SAVINGS TIP:  Don’t let the “Kid’s Bundle” title detour you ~ this is perfect for teens and adults too! Although Amazon describes this as a ‘kids bundle’ (and yes, it is great for kids), it’s also an excellent value for adults & teens since the same reader in this bundle alone normally sells for $99.99 (learn more here).

Features included in the Kindle Bundle:

* Includes the latest 6″ Paperwhite Kindle Reader ($99.99 retail), an ergonomic protective cover ($19.99), & a 2-year extended warranty provided by SquareTrade ($19.99).

* There are over 14,000 reviews on this powerful reader tablet & most reviewers give it 5 stars.

* Zero distractions – unlike tablets, this Kindle is designed just for reading.

* Drops or spills? No worriesincludes 2 years of accident protection provided by SquareTrade. Once your Kindle ships, you will receive an email with instructions on how to activate your coverage.

* Power up a young reader’s vocabulary with features that offer hints for difficult words and let you practice them on digital flashcards

* Set reading goals and track progress with Kindle FreeTime.

* Lighter than a paperback and holds thousands of books

* Easily checkout e-books from the Fort Worth public library.

3-Day Sharon Young and Ladies Designer Brand Clothing Warehouse Sale — Opens to the Public On Thursday

As promised, we hopped over to Dallas to bring you an exclusive preview of the Ladies Designer Brand Warehouse Sale. The sale opens its doors for just 3 days to the public, and it starts this Thursday (runs April 28-30). We had so much fun on our preview trip and found so many goodies that it was hard to choose!

Just for our readers, we have put together a little peek at some our favorite finds, plus some insiders’ tips & scoop you’ll want to know before you go to the sale…

Ali Miles Sleevless

The Ladies Designer Brand Warehouse Sale only opens its doors four times a year, and this long-awaited 3-day Spring fashion sale starts this Thursday!  This sale is huge with over 22,000 items, like the beautiful, silky Ali Miles sleeveless top pictured above — over 70% OFF retail at only $20! We happened to see this exact top on display at a major department store last weekend for $69 — we cannot say where, but a little Google search for “Ali Miles” might tell you, wink-wink :).

Once again, I saved a bundle (50 to 75% off regular retail) on some wonderful new pieces for my wardrobe and went home with some gorgeous clothes usually only found at higher end ladies boutiques and department stores at MUCH higher prices. The racks were already packed, and even more beautiful pieces were coming into the warehouse during our visit!

INSIDERS’ TIP: The sale will feature a special Buy One Get One FREE” deal on Thursday and Friday (only)! This offer is on top of the already discounted prices, so be sure to ask about this deal to stretch your savings and wardrobe.

Here is a little taste of some of our favorite finds:

~ Click on any picture for a closeup view ~

You’ll find everything you need to complete an outfit including tops, skirts, pants, and jackets ~ all $20 to $60. And, even though the sale is huge, everything is very organized into collections, making it easy to navigate the sale. Brands you’ll see include the new high-end boutique John Mark line (most John Mark pieces are at least 60% off!), Sharon Young, Multiples, Tru Luxe jeans and tops, Ali Miles, Slim-Sations, A La Carte & more.

The sale covers a huge selection and variety of styles, from trendy to traditional and from “running to the grocery store” casual to night-on-the-town dressy.  Plus, we found a nice variety of sizes to fit and flatter  just about anyone ~ from petite to women’s plus sizes and everything in between (sizes 2-18 and a stylish selection of 0X-3X).

Important to know before going: There is a very large dressing room area provided if you want to try on all your wonderful finds, but typical of women’s fashion warehouse sales, it is ladies only but not private — you likely want to keep this in mind when choosing your undergarments : ). Handmade-at-amazon logo

We recently discovered the freshly launched Handmade at Amazon store —  if you are an Etsy fan, you’ll enjoy this wonderful store, packed full of unique items crafted and sold directly from artisans. Handmade products range from jewelry and furniture to artwork and bedding and are easily browsed by category (Handmade Lighting, Home Decor, Stationery and Party Supplies, Kitchen and Dining, etc.) or search by artisans’ location (like Texas!).

Our perusal uncovered a new favorite find — gorgeous, yet inexpensive gold or silver foil art prints, made by hand in a small print shop just outside of Philadelphia. Choose a standard 5 x 7 framable size for $10 or 8 x 10 for $18 — both sizes are designed to be popped into a standard frame and you can pick gold or silver foil. They will even customize a print just for you for $7 more!

Here are some of our favorite designs:
