SNEAK PREVIEW: Sharon Young & Ladies Designer Brand Warehouse Clothing Sale ~ Starts November 15

A little reminder: our favorite Ladies Designer Brand Warehouse Sale starts the next week! This huge, direct from the designer warehouse clothing sale only happens 4 times a year and runs for 3 days (Thursday, Nov. 15 through Saturday, Nov. 17). A few days ago, I jaunted to Dallas to get a peek at the sale and take some pictures for our readers. Some of my favorite finds were the “Texas-weight” jackets (for those crisp, but not-cold-enough-for-gloves days),  Tru Luxe Jeans at 50% off retail, and the oh-so-fashionable (and figure forgiving) ponchos in lots of styles.  I especially love all the attention to detail in these high-end department store quality fashions.

Check out the fabulous button details on the tailored blue jean
jacket sleeves above (love!).  The finishing on the inside with the
plaid piping on the seams adds fun pizzazz, too.

The Amon Carter is one of only three U.S. museums to host the exhibition; previous touring cities include Madrid, Tokyo and Rovereto, Italy.

Just in time for the entertaining season ahead, here’s a fun & FREE printable tool from Martha Stewart to teach your children how to correctly set the table.  If you are like me, daily dinners at home rarely include a table formally set with all the various forks, glasses, etc.  With the entertaining season almost here, now is the perfect time to teach your kids table setting skills, so that they can take part in the preparations for all the upcoming festivities.

Woo-hoo! It’s almost time for our favorite clothing warehouse sale…

 

Need to update or add a few new pieces to your wardrobe? 
Be sure to mark the next Sharon Young and Ladies Designer Brand Warehouse sale (November 15-17) on your calendar. The sale will feature 1000s of items from their fall clothing collection at big discounts ~ definitely worth the drive to Dallas!

If you have followed the blog for a while, you likely already know what big fans we are of this sale.  Personally, I have saved a bundle off retail prices (50 to 75% OFF) and brought home some gorgeous outfits at below wholesale ~ much of my wardrobe has come from this sale’s clothes racks. Prices start at $20 and the most expensive items (dresses and jackets) are $60!

   

We will be popping over to Dallas to capture some sneak preview pictures of the goodies this week, so stay tuned for a future post and more info in the coming days. Until then, you can take a peek at the company websites to get a glimpse of some of the clothing brands you will find:

When: November 15-17, 2012 ~ Thursday & Friday, 8:00AM to 8:00PM and Saturday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Where: 10367 Brockwood Rd ~ Dallas.  You’ll see signs directing you where to go (or just follow all the ladies you will see!)
Do note: There is a large dressing room provided for trying on all your finds, but typical of women’s fashion warehouse sales, it is ladies only and not private. Since this is a women only event, husbands, guy-friends and kiddos under 12, please stay comfortable at home.
