As promised, we popped over to the Ladies Designer Brand Warehouse Sale to give you a sneak look at their last sale of the year (doors open to the public this Thursday and the sale runs November 13-15).  Once again the sale is packed wall-to-wall with fantastic finds!

Everything is deeply discounted OFF retail, and you’ll find sizes to fit just about anyone ~ from petite to women’s sizes and everything in between.

This sale is huge with over 18,000 pieces and even more opportunities to save! Extra discounts will include a fantastic buy one get one FREE surprise deal on Thursday and Friday that is on top of the already discounted prices!  Woo-hoo!

Where: 10367 Brockwood Rd ~ Dallas.  You’ll see signs directing you where to go (or just follow all the ladies you will see!).
Do note: There is a large dressing room provided for trying on all your finds, but typical of women’s fashion warehouse sales, it is ladies only and not private. Since this is a women only event, husbands, guy-friends and kiddos under 12, please stay comfortable at home.

Grapevine Butterfly Festival

Bring the entire family to celebrate the migration of the monarch butterfly from Canada to Mexico by way of Grapevine. The 17th Annual Butterfly Flutterby is a free, family-friendly event held at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens.

The day begins with a Butterfly Costume Parade that starts at East Wall and Jenkins Streets. After the parade, participate in butterfly crafts, butterfly exhibits, the Migration Station, interactive games, a scavenger hunt, face painting and other activities in the Botanical Gardens. Butterfly Releases will take place at 10:45 a.m., 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the Grapevine Botanical Gardens.
