    Now through May 6, 2012           

Enjoy a fun time with your family and friends at the 40th Anniversary celebration of May Fest. This Fort Worth festival is packed with live entertainment (7 stages of music and performing arts), carnival rides, children’s activities, festival food, and more attractions.

Sunday is Military Day – show your ID for active duty, retired, reserve, or student cadet and receive FREE admission for you and up to  three guests.

ADMISSION to the Fort Worth Museum of Science & History

Bank of America’s 2012 national program, Museums On Us offers FREE admission, the first full weekend of every month, to 150 participating museums, zoos, botanical gardens and more throughout the United States. This FREE Admission program takes place this weekend in Fort Worth at the Museum of Science and History.

All Calloway’s Nursery locations will be hosting a free garden clinic on Saturday cleverly titled, “Those Blooming Shrubs.” This seminar will focus on flowering shrubs that will stand up to tough Texas weather like azaleas, hydrangeas, camellias and roses.

Saturday, May 5, 2012

This Saturday, bring your child to Home Depot’s Kids Workshop to help them learn a new woodworking skill and build their very own vegetable planter box to take home. Each Kids Workshop participant will receive a kid-sized orange apron (similar to a Home Depot associate apron) and an achievement pin. All workshops are free, but you should probably show up early to insure you have a kit for your little ones.
