Ft. Worth’s Annual Spring Gallery Night is a FREE open-house event celebrating the visual arts and the community’s cultural richness in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Take a stroll through participating galleries and museums, plus mingle with the many artists featured during this community event. Many locations are hosting live music and light h’ors d’oeuvres.

Take a step back in time to the days of the Wild West! Enjoy live music from The Bright, The Matt Kimbrow Band, The Crawfish Band and more! Stroll through the Watauga Depot where you will find lots of arts, crafts, and food vendors. Kids can take a train or stagecoach ride, tackle the mechanical bull, conquer the climbing wall, jump on the inflatables, and more. An egg hunt for kids 0-10 years old will begin at 11:30AM.  Armadillo races will start at noon.

the Amon Carter Museum

Enjoy America’s depiction of the West through cinema while watching the  Academy Award-winning family film Rango (PG; 2011), followed by the spaghetti western classic The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (NR; 1966). Come for one of the films or stay for both! Refreshments will be served between movies.

In this ongoing lecture series, artist Annette Lawrence will discuss works in the Kimbell’s collection, share special insights, and relate older art to contemporary artistic concerns. Hear classic western music come to life as Cowtown Opry members perform a free music exhibition on the steps of the Livestock Exchange building. This live family friendly music event will take place every Sunday and will feature a different theme each week ~ Western Gospel music will be featured on the 5th Sunday of the month.
