And, to top things off, the winner and 5 of their friends will receive a VIP invitation to attend a private sale preview event!

with their program, Picture This Family Fun day. Each family will
receive a free, disposable camera to use at activity stations. You’ll also have
the opportunity to:

  • Join in music and games with Radio Disney
  • Discover some of America’s great artist-photographers
  • Pose for pictures in a photo booth
  • Decorate a scrapbook

FREE Walking Cane at Sam’s Club ~ November 10-12, 2010
Over 36,000 Hugo canes will be given away free of charge to United States military veterans in need of mobility assistance. Sam’s Club membership is not required, but supplies are limited so you may want to call your local store before heading there. Proof of military service may be required. Each Sam’s Club location will have approximately 40 canes and will be giving them away starting Wednesday, November 10th thru Friday November 12th, 2010 while supplies last. Details here.

Colonial Williamsburg FREE Admission
Colonial Williamsburg honors America’s Veterans with a procession down Duke of Gloucester Street, 4:30 p.m., beginning at the Capitol. The parade culminates in a public ceremony, with militia and cannon crew firing volleys in recognition of those who serve. Hear Colonial Williamsburg’s Fifes and Drums, and speakers from past and present. Active duty military, guard and reservists, retirees, veterans and their dependents enjoy free admission passes on the following dates: Nov. 6-11.

Well, get out your calendar and mark down November 18-20, as they are back in gear with a new sale from their gorgeous fall collections. You’ll save a bundle off retail prices (50 to 75% OFF) and end up with some beautiful clothes sold only at higher end ladies boutiques and department stores!

What: The Sharon Young Warehouse Sale will feature over 18,000 pieces
    of ladies’ apparel including designer brands: Sharon Young, A La Carte,
    and City Girl. You will find everything to complete an outfit including
    tops, skirts, pants, and jackets. Ladies & Petite Sizes 2-18 and Women’s
   Plus 14W-24W.
When: November 18-20, 2010: Thursday and Friday – 8:00AM to 8:00PM
    Saturday – 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Where: 10367 Brockwood Rd ~ Dallas. This is the corporate office
    location, and the sale entrance is found on the back of the building.

FREE Admission to Over 100 National Parks on Veterans Day, November 11th

Mark your calendars ~ Veteran’s Day, November 11th, you can enjoy any
of our National Parks for FREE (including locations in Hawaii, Alaska
and the Virgin Islands). 

There is a long list of participating National Parks locations
within a drivable distance of Fort Worth, too ~ just in case Hawaii
isn’t in the plans for next week!  ; ) 

Need a little more time to plan?  Take note of these
2011 FREE National Parks Entrance Dates:

  • April 16-24, 2011 (National Park Week)
