The 2018 Stock Show and Rodeo kicks off today, and we are back to give you the full scoop on how to get discount or even FREE tickets to this favorite annual event (daily through February 3). Here’s how:

The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo’s 23 day event opens its doors today with a schedule packed full of premier livestock shows, daily rodeo (extra ticket needed), live musical entertainment, petting zoo, family friendly exhibits, and lots more. There are fun activities for the whole family, and the list of exhibits and events is fresh each day.

Plan ahead and you can get Stock Show grounds admission for FREE or even 50% OFF rodeo tickets. Here’s how to save:

1. FREE Grounds Admission, Tuesday, January 16 (Dickies Day) ~ Wear your Dickies logoed clothing item to the gate ticket office and receive FREE general admission to the Stock Show grounds. Tuesday, January 16 only — learn more here.

2. FREE Grounds Admission for TCU Fans & 50% OFF Rodeo Tickets for TCU Students & Staff, Thursday, January 25 (TCU Day) ~ Wear any TCU logoed gear on TCU day to receive FREE general admission to the Stock show grounds (rodeo performance not included). TCU students with a valid/current TCU I.D. can also get $10 rodeo tickets (regularly $22) for performances on this day. Learn more here.

Multiday Souvenir Pin / Pass (savings on multiple days) ~ While supplies last, the Stock Show and Rodeo has a special souvenir pin that you can purchase that nicely lowers the cost if you will be visiting the Stock Show for more than 4 days. Oh I love a parade! Over 100,000 people will line the streets of downtown Fort Worth to watch the “All Western Parade” and to celebrate the opening of the 2014 Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. This traditional event is held each year and boasts being the largest western themed parade, as well as the longest 100% non-motorized (no cars) parade in the world. The parade will feature over 4,000 participants including covered wagons, horses, more than 1,000 head of livestock, and of course lots of cowboys!

When: Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00AM
Where: The parade starts in front of the Tarrant County Courthouse (Downtown at Weatherford and Main Streets), turns right on Main towards the Convention Center, and loops back to the Courthouse on Houston St. Click here to view the new 2014 parade route.

1. Buy 1 Get One FREE Rodeo Ticket Coupons ~ Pick up a Buy One Get One FREE Rodeo Admission coupon at any Mattress Firm Location in Fort Worth, Dickies clothing retail store (521 W. Vickery Blvd in Downtown Fort Worth), North Texas Chevy Dealer (list of locations here), or find a coupon sticker on select Mrs Baird’s products in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Follow the instructions on the coupon to redeem your coupon and get your free BOGO ticket. Note: Be sure to call before using this coupon, to make sure your desired rodeo performance date is available. Availability is for $19 performances and is limited for promotion tickets, dates and times.

4. FREE Grounds Admission, Tuesday, January 22nd (Dickies Day) ~ Wear your Dickies logoed clothing item to the gate ticket office and receive FREE general admission to the Stock Show grounds for Tuesday, January 22nd only. Learn more here.

5. FREE Rodeo Tickets and Reception for Breast Cancer Survivors on Pink Day, Tuesday, January 29th ~ In partnership with the Greater Fort Worth affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 50% of all general admission and rodeo ticket sales from January 29th events will be donated to this worthy cause. That same day, breast cancer survivors will be treated to a Pink Ribbon Rodeo reception with refreshments and more from noon – 7 p.m. Survivors will also receive a free ticket to the evening’s 7:30 p.m. rodeo performance. 6. FREE Grounds Admission for TCU fans & $10 OFF the rodeo for TCU students, Thursday January 31st (TCU Day) ~ Wear any TCU logoed gear on TCU day and receive FREE general admission to the Stock show grounds (rodeo performance not included). TCU students with a valid/current student I.D. can also get $10 OFF rodeo tickets for performances on this day. Learn more here.

FREE Grounds Admission AND Rodeo for Military, Monday, February 4th ~ Present your military ID (active or retired) at the Rodeo Ticket Box Office and receive FREE tickets to the Rodeo (includes Grounds admission) for you and your immediate family for the 2:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. performance (you can get your tickets now!). 8. FREE Stock Show Grounds Admission For Museum Members ~ If you’re a member of The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, the Cattle Raisers Museum or the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, you can get into the Stock Show Grounds for FREE. Museum members must present a current Museum Membership card and photo ID at a Stock Show ticket booth for free entry. Learn more here.

Save a bundle if you plan to attend multiple days ~ For a limited time, the Stock Show and Rodeo has a special Super Saver deal that nicely lowers the cost if you will be visiting the Stock Show grounds multiple days. With this $40 per person deal, you get 20 Midway Ride Coupons (worth $20) and a souvenir pin that provides ground admission to the exhibit areas for all 23 days of the show. Special cowboys & culture moo-seum bonus (I love this!) ~ For the 3rd straight year, your Stock Show grounds admission ticket can be used to get FREE admission (January 18th to February 9th) to The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, the Cattle Raisers Museum or the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
