Don’t Miss $5 Tickets To The Fort Worth Music Festival (LIMITED TIME)!

Bookmark and Share

A personal note:  I am SO excited to see that 11-time Grammy nominee (2011 winner) jazz saxophonist Kirk Whalum is going to be at this year’s Fort Worth Music Festival ~ he always puts on a GREAT show.  If you are planning to attend this fun event (September 30-October 1), don’t miss out on today’s Groupon offer ~ $5 one-day General Admission or 50% OFF VIP tickets gets you a weekend of fabulous music artists, a juried art show, and great food as well ~ all in the heart of my favorite city. :)

50% OFF Tickets To The Fort Worth Music Festival!

Hurry over to Groupon to get the 50% OFF savings offer for your choice of General Admission or VIP Tickets  to the Fort Worth Music Festival, happening the last weekend in September.  Learn more about the event (formerly known as Jazz on the Boulevard) and the 20 music artists at the Fort Worth Music Festival website and blog (here). With today’s Groupon you can get tickets to the event as low as $5 a person!

There is a limited quantity of these discounted tickets available, so you might not want to wait if you plan to take advantage of this.

How to get the Offer:

  1. Go here to sign up for today’s 50% OFF deal.
  2. Select Fort Worth as Your Groupon City
Look for the offer on the right-hand side of the page under the section More Great Deals.
  3. Buy your Groupon before the end of the day.
There is a limited quantity of these certificates available, I would
recommend not waiting too long to make your purchase.

New to Groupon? You are in for a treat!

A few months ago, Groupon launched its Fort Worth site (AND we
did the happy dance at Frugal in Fort Worth!). If you are not familiar with
Groupon, definitely take a moment to check them out.

Groupon offers a daily deal on local goods, services and cultural events
across the country. I’ve seen their local offers include everything from
50% Off Cowboys Stadium Tour, 50% Off Nordstrom Rack to 75% Off
window cleaning ~ and seemingly everything in between! I’ve even bought
Groupon deals in other cities as a way to save on restaurant dining and
entertainment when we travel.

Here’s how it works:

1. Each day Groupon features a great deal at an unbeatable price.

2. You have to sign up for the offer that day, and only get the deal
if the minimum number of people join that day (so pass this along
to your friends)!

3. Check back the next day to discover the next Groupon offer (or sign up for their emails to have them delivered to your inbox)!

Enjoy and Share! :)

50% OFF AMC Movie Theater Tickets!

Bookmark and Share

Here’s something fun to “put in the back pocket” for a fun outing with the family ~ 50% OFF Movie Tickets!  Unlike most daily deals, there is no limit to how many tickets you can buy and these AMC movie tickets do not expire (LOVE THAT!!).

50% OFF Movie Tickets at AMC Theaters!

We have not been to the movies in a while so it was fun to discover a GREAT “flash” deal for 50% OFF AMC Theatres Movie Tickets that do not expire!  Our favorite AMC Theatre is the one in downtown Fort Worth, but there are 10 locations sprinkled throughout DFW.

When you purchase today’s Buy With Me AMC Movie Ticket Deal for $24, you will get 4 movie tickets (retail $52) that do not expire and are usable at almost any AMC theater in the U.S. ($3 shipping added to order)!  There isn’t a limit on the number of tickets you can purchase, but there is a limited quantity available through Buy With Me , so you may not want to wait.

How to Get the Offer:

  1. Go here to sign up for today’s 50% OFF AMC Movie Ticket deal.
  2. Select Fort Worth as Your City.
Look for the national offer in the bottom of the page.
  3. Buy your tickets today.
The tickets do not expire and you have until the end of the week to make your purchase.  Since there is a limited quantity of these tickets available at this special deal, I would recommend not waiting too long to make your purchase.

Things to Note: These tickets come to your home address within 10-14 days after the Buy With Me Promotion ends.  They do not expire. Once you receive your tickets in the mail, they can be redeemed for admission at any AMC theatre location in the U.S. (AMC, AMC Showplace, Loews, Cineplex Odeon, Magic Johnson, and Star theatres).  They are not valid for online or kiosk purchasing, reserved seating, or for special engagements.  Tickets are valid only for movies that are two weeks out from their original release date.  Be sure to read the other terms as well on the Buy With Me promotion page.

Friday and Saturday,  August 26 & 27

Circo Del Rey is not a traditional 3-ring circus. It is a story-oriented experience, and much like Cirque du Soleil,  it is a high-energy spectacular that features incredible high-wire acts, the death-defying Motorcycle Cage of Death, astonishing illusions and much more.  In fact, many of the performers are Cirque du Soleil members, appearing in their off-time with Circo Del Rey!  There will be 3 Circo Del Rey performances and tickets are as low as $7 each ~ a cheap outing for the whole family.

Back to School Monday: Save on Educational Toys From Melissa & Doug (Through Wed. August 24)

Bookmark and Share

Did you happen to buy the One Kings Lane Groupon we talked about  last month?  This is your opportunity to stack up your savings on Melissa and Doug Educational Toys that are nicely discounted for the next couple of days at One Kings Lane.  Even if you didn’t get the Groupon, you may want to check out this back-to-school sale toy sale that takes place now through August 24.

Not familiar with One Kings LaneOKL is a by-invitation-only daily deals site (free to join) that has been featured for their great bargains on Bravo’s Million Dollar Decorators, People Magazine, Good Housekeeping and more.  Their sales change daily, so it’s a fun place for bargain shoppers looking for great quality and prices on home decor, housewares, shoes, toys, clothing and more. You do have to be quick, as the sales last 2-3 days and items often sell out quickly.  Membership to One Kings Lane is FREE, but you have to be invited to join (and you are officially invited by Frugal in Fort Worth!).

Being the frugal folks we are: as with all purchases and daily deals, we recommend comparing product prices to other online sellers like Amazon or Google Shopping to make sure you are getting the lowest overall price including shipping and taxes.
