The city of Keller is pleased to present Keller Summer Nights, a Thursday evening of FREE live music, family movies, & art! The evening will kick off on the front lawn of the Keller Town Hall at 7:15pm with a weekly lineup of fantastic local bands — see entertainment schedule below. At 9:00pm take in the Thursday family fun film on the back lawn. You’ll also be able to enjoy the artist tents set up along the avenue during the event.
The event is family friendly and open to audiences of all ages. You are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, picnic dinners, leashed pets, and snacks and drinks to enjoy (no glass please).
The weekly entertainment lineup includes:
- THURSDAY, JUNE 12
Live Music: Ricki Derek and the Vegas Six ~ “To hear Ricki sing, you would think ‘Old Blue Eyes’ was there crooning the standards of yesteryear. Always dressed for the occasion, Ricki makes you feel like you’ve got a front row ticket to an old school show.” This will be a fun show!
Movie: Despicable Me 2 (PG) - THURSDAY, JUNE 19
Live Music: Whiskey Folk Ramblers ~ “Like the soundtrack to a spaghetti western set in the Dust Bowl, Whiskey Folk’s ‘folk noir’ blends ominous, reverb-dripping guitars with boot-stomping train beats.”
Movie: Bedtime Stories (PG) - THURSDAY, JUNE 26
Live Music: Fox and the Bird ~ “A folk-pop band with gang vocals and layered harmonies, Fox and the Bird is a choral collective of ratating songwriters and singers. The band’s characteristically rich orchestration is hitched to banjos, accordions, ukuleles & fiddles.”
- Movie: Bolt (PG)
