Enjoy an afternoon of free family fun for all ages at the Kimbell Art Museum on Saturday. This event will feature creative art-making activities that will help you discover where the world’s greatest artists find inspiration and ignite your own original art-making ideas. Admission to the Picasso and Braque special exhibitions is also FREE (normally $8/person) during the event.

Spend the weekend at the National Cutting Horse Finals! Experience quintessential Fort Worth with a Cowboy riding event that dates back to the 1800s. This year’s competition features some of the finest cutting horses and rider talents in the country.

…Family Event at the Gaylord Texan
Friday, July 29, 2011 (and Every Friday through Labor Day)
Friday nights over Grapevine Lake will sparkle with spectacular firework shows each Friday through the summer, now through Labor day. If you want to add some extra fun to your family evening, plan to view the fireworks from the Gaylord Texan Resort parking garage roof ~ a great viewing platform ~ and they will have a DJ, games for kids, and food and beverages for purchase.
