Calloway’s is offering a FREE all day workshop at 4 of their store locations.  Hear from local and national garden experts who will share gardening tips, show you how to use color effectively in the garden, teach you about some of the best trees and shrubs to plant in Texas, explain how to grow delicious herbs, fruits and berries in your garden, and more!

:: FREE! Cheer on the Runners at the Cowtown Marathon
   Saturday and Sunday, February 26 & 27, 2011

 
The Cowtown Marathon, Fort Worth’s most well-known running event, takes place this weekend and includes a marathon, half marathon, ultra marathon, 10K, adult 5K and a kids’ 5K. You can watch and cheer on the runners at the starting line, located at Will Rogers Memorial Center (or for the more ambitious, you can still register in person).

:: Wizard of Oz ~ Live and Onstage at Artisans Theater
Now through March 12, 2011

The classic story of Wizard of Oz is brought to life onstage at Artisan Theater. Spunky Dorothy finds herself over the rainbow and in plenty of trouble as she tries to find her way back home to Kansas. As Munchkins, children in the audience are invited to oil the Tin Man, stuff the Scarecrow and hide Dorothy and her dog, Toto, from the Wicked Witch of the West!
