We enjoyed perusing the cookbooks and found simple, easy to follow recipes that look worthy of sharing with friends and family.  The Sizzling Grilling cookbook has some great 4th of July recipe ideas and the  Chocolate Cake with Praline Topping (mmmm!) from the Best Gluten-Free Desserts cookbook sounds and looks delicious.

Book bargain lovers: hurry over to the Friends of the Fort Worth Public Library Biannual Book Sale this weekend and you’ll be able to choose from thousands of books, CDs, audio books, and children’s books with most items priced under $1 (Friday & Saturday).  Sunday will feature “$10 a Box Day” when you can fill a box provided by the store with as many items as you like and pay $10 for everything. Admission to the sale is $1 (there is no charge for members or children).
