Every summer, Ballet Concerto hosts its SUMMER DANCE CONCERT, performed outdoors in the heart of the Fort Worth Cultural District. Recognized by Fort Worth Weekly as Fort Worth’s “Best Outdoor Cultural Event,” the performance features many internationally acclaimed dancers and choreographers. During the performance, concession stands will be available or feel free to take your own picnic and snacks. You will also want to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket to enjoy the outdoor entertainment in comfort.

This 100-voices strong free patriotic concert will be performed by internationally acclaimed a cappella men’s chorus, The Vocal Majority — the group has garnered 12 international gold medals and fans worldwide. The evening will also feature gourmet food trucks with such favorites as SoCal Tacos, Ruthie’s Rolling Café, Gepettos Pizza, Trailer Cakes, and more. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome.

Morse’s iconic painting Gallery of the Louvre (1831–1833) along with a selection of works from the museum’s own collection that, like Morse’s painting, feature museum and gallery spaces as their subject matter. Though Morse is most widely known as a scientist and inventor, he was a leading artist of his time. Filled with his careful and personal selection of the Louvre’s finest works, all of which he painstakingly reproduced in miniature, the painting is a signal work of transatlantic exchange intended to connect American audiences with great European artworks.
