One of our favorite annual events, Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival is finally here! This juried art fest showcases over 200 of the nation’s finest artists and is staged around the streets of downtown with Sundance Square Plaza acting as the main hub. The festival also features hundreds of performances throughout the weekend, including live concerts in just about every music genre — from R&B to country to jazz.  Even Cliburn Award Winner Steven Lin, and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will offer  special FREE performances.  It’s a family friendly event with an enormous variety of amazing art, savory food, live entertainment and kids activities.

The mission of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra is to perform great symphonic music at the highest level of artistic excellence to educate, entertain and enhance cultural life.

The Junior League of Fort Worth hosts its FREE Pancake Picnic benefiting both Cook Children’s patients and community members on Saturday. This year’s theme is based on the book “If You Give a Pig a Pancake” with activities including face painting, a fire truck, pancake walk, dunking booth and more fun. Top-your-own-pancakes will satisfy everyone’s taste buds and fun themed games for all ages will provide everyone an opportunity to smile and laugh.
