Join the Tarrant Regional Water District at Whoop on the Loop, and celebrate the completion of the Marine Creek loop trail with a 1K fun run, 5K and ribbon-cutting ceremony.  Dogs, strollers, walkers and runners are all welcome to experience the new six-mile loop trail around Marine Creek Lake. After your stroll or run, the kids can enjoy a bounce house and other activities while you check out the plans for the trailhead along the trail, scheduled to open this summer.

Every third Saturday through May, join the Amon Carter museum’s librarian or archivist on a behind-the-scenes tour of the museum’s research library and archives. The tour starts in the reading room and continues to book storage and then to archives and special collections. Along the way, learn about the history of the facility, its collections (over 150,000 items), and its various programs. No reservations required.

The Kimbell Kids drop-in program introduces children (ages 12 and under) and their adult companions to fun and inspiring ways to enjoy art together. Each session features a brief gallery activity and a related studio-art project. Sign up at the entrance to the education studios in the Renzo Piano Pavilion one hour before the program. Do note that you may want to arrive early to sign up as space is very limited.
