Fort Worth 2014 Gallery Night

Fort Worth’s Annual Spring Gallery Night is a FREE open-house event celebrating the visual arts and the community’s cultural richness in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Take a stroll through participating galleries and museums, plus mingle with the many artists featured during this community event. Many locations are hosting live music and light h’ors d’oeuvres.

The Kimbell Art Museum ~ Fort Worth Art Program

The Kimbell Kids drop-in program introduces children (ages 12 and under) and their adult companions to fun and inspiring ways to enjoy art together.  Each session features a brief gallery activity and a related studio-art project.  Sign up at the entrance to the education studios in the Renzo Piano Pavilion one hour before the program.  Do note that space is very limited.

Join River Legacy Living Science Center in Arlington for Birding 101, a multi-week series of classes designed for beginning birders and those who want to improve their birding skills. The adult workshop will be led by North Central Texas Master Birders and will include one hour of classroom instruction followed by one hour in the field. Bring your binoculars and field guide if you have them. A limited supply of binoculars will be available during the class.  Best suited for ages 12 and up. Space is limited. RSVP to 817.860.6752.
