The USS Fort Worth Commissioning Support Committee is sponsoring a Watch Party in Sundance Square on Saturday, September 22. The state-of-the-art littoral combat ship (LCS) – the first U.S. Navy ship to be named after our city – will be commissioned in Galveston.
Come watch the festivities live on the big screen beginning at 10am on Sundance Square’s Gateway Parking Lot. Family fun will be provided by Clowning Around Entertainment throughout the morning. Attendees may purchase food and beverages at Oliver’s Fine Foods, directly across the street at the corner of 4th & Throckmorton. Chairs will be available for rent or you may bring your own.

Where: Gateway Parking Lot in Sundance Square ~ bordered by 4th Street, Houston Street, 5th Street and Throckmorton Street. Saturday, parking is FREE at many Sundance Square parking lots and garages. Click here to find available FREE parking options.
