Join the Noble Planetarium staff for their FREE Star Gazing party Saturday night. You will find plenty of telescopes for viewing and lots of experts available to help you and your family navigate your way through the skies.

Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn at Artisans Theater
What: The classic story of Huckleberry Finn is brought to life onstage at Artisan Theater. Do note that the show will be performed in Sign Language on Monday nights and Saturday matinees.  For more info about this live theater production, click here.

Enjoy a reading of The Lorax by Dr. Seuss, as well as crafts, refreshments and a chance to win some great door prizes as part of Read Across America Day! This special event promotes reading, particularly for children and young adults and is co-sponsored by Junior League of Fort Worth, Inc and Fort Worth Public Library Foundation. As part of this event, The Tail Waggin’ Tutors program will take place in the Reading Pavilion at 1:00PM.

Bank of America’s 2012 national program, Museums On Us offers FREE admission, the first full weekend of every month, to 150 participating museums, zoos, botanical gardens and more throughout the United States. This FREE Admission program takes place this weekend in Fort Worth at the Museum of Science and History.

This Saturday, bring your child to Home Depot’s Kids Workshop to help them learn a new woodworking skill and build their very own race car to take home. Each Kids Workshop participant will receive a kid-sized orange apron (similar to a Home Depot associate apron) and an achievement pin. All workshops are free, but you should probably show up early to insure you have a kit for your little ones.
