All Jazzed Up and Someplace to Go
If you are a jazz fan, then you will want to tune into the Third Thursday Jazz Series, sponsored by the Fort Worth Jazz Society and hosted in the setting of the beautiful downtown library. This FREE monthly live concert series continues this month (runs through October) and features an outstanding list of nationally and locally known talent.
Fred Hersch Trio ~ Featured Thursday, September 15.
The series continues Thursday, September 15, and features Fred Hersch, an acclaimed jazz pianist, composer, and 3-time Grammy nominee. Recognized for both his ability to re-interpret the classics as well as his outstanding original works, Hersch is simply a master jazz pianist. The New York Times refers to Hersch as “…a pianist, composer and conceptualist of rare imaginative power.” Learn more about Fred Hersch and hear samples of his music, here.

Cost: FREE and open to the public. No ticket is required.
