All Jazzed Up and Someplace to Go
If you are a jazz fan, then you will want to tune into the Third Thursday Jazz Series, sponsored by the Fort Worth Jazz Society and hosted in the setting of the beautiful downtown library.  This FREE monthly live concert series continues this month (runs through October) and features an outstanding list of nationally and locally known talent.

The series continues Thursday, August 18, and features Kristin Korb, an acclaimed singer and bassist.  This internationally known performer takes a fresh look at the great American songbook with swinging performances and innovative arrangements of jazz standards. ….your parking ticket validated at the Central Library for up to
….2.5 hours on weekdays.
Cost: FREE and open to the public.  No ticket is required.

Third Thursday Jazz Series Monthly Lineup

  • August 18: Kristin Korb Trio. This acclaimed singer and bassist will take a fresh look at the great American songbook.
  • September 15: Fred Hersch Trio. The featured act of our series, Down Beat magazine calls Hersch a “brilliant composer and pianist.”
  • October 20: Paul Unger Septet. Unger’s group will perform “Pathway to Fusion,” the music of Miles Davis from the ’60s and ’70s.
