Want to take part in NASCAR race weekend events without all the expense
(and need for earplugs)? Take in one of the many FREE related events
happening around the area.
FREE events range from NASCAR driver appearances to being in the audience
for the live TV taping of Fast Track to Fame, the new TV show where singers,
dancers, and other family friendly entertainers perform in front of judges.

FREE Spring into Asian Art Festival ~ The Kimbell Art Museum

This Saturday, the Kimbell is hosting a FREE Spring into Asian Art festival
that will be loads of fun. The event schedule kicks off with Fort Worth Japanese
drumming group Dondoko Taiko and will be filled with fun activities for the
whole family.
Not only can you view the complete re-installation of the world-renowned
permanent collection, you’ll also have the opportunity to make your own
artwork inspired by popular Asian traditions.

This Saturday, bring your child to a Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic to help
them learn a new woodworking skill and make a FREE project to take home.
All Workshops are free, but you should probably show up early to insure
you have a kit for your little ones.

organic plant seminar and family event designed to teach earth-friendly
gardening approaches for our North Texas area.
Bring the kids along too, as there will be free children’s crafts and an
opportunity for them to choose a plant to add to their new creation.
Give-away drawings will take place throughout the day, as well!

Disney’s Sleeping Beauty for Kids ~ Live and Onstage

The fairy-tale story of Sleeping Beauty is brought to life onstage with elegance
at Artisan Theater in Hurst. This classic story, told Disney-style is made more
lovely with Tchaikovsky’s beautiful music.
