Warehouse sale (February 10th-12th) on your calendar. The
sale will feature 1000s of items from their winter/resort clothing
collection at big discounts.  It’s definitely worth the drive to Dallas! 

For anyone who has followed this blog, you know I am a big fan of this sale.
You can save a bundle off retail prices (50 to 75% OFF) and end up with
some gorgeous outfits at below wholesale.  Ladies, these are clothes that
you find at some of the finest boutiques and higher end department stores!

What: The Sharon Young & Ladies Designer Brand Warehouse Sale will  
    feature clothing brands: Sharon Young, A La Carte, Multiples,
    and City Girl. You will find everything to complete an outfit including
    tops, skirts, pants, and jackets. Sizes will include Ladies & Petites 2-18
    and Womens Plus 14W-24W. They also have new Facebook (here) and 
    Twitter (@LadiesDsgnrSale) pages where you can learn more.
When: February 10-12, 2011: Thursday and Friday – 8:00AM to 8:00PM
    Saturday – 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Where: 10367 Brockwood Rd ~ Dallas. For those who have attended
    before, this is in the same parking lot, but across the alley from the
    corporate office location. Watch for a future post with more details about
    this new and larger location.
Do note: There is a large dressing room provided for trying on all your
   finds. However, this is a women only event ~ so husbands, guy-friends
   and kiddos under 12, please stay comfortable at home.

In support of locally owned small businesses: American Express is giving its cardholders a $25 statement credit when you make a $25+ purchase at your favorite local stores and restaurants on Small Business Saturday (November 27, 2010).  Availability to participate is limited, so enroll as soon as possible.

How:  To get the $25 Credit, you will need to  enroll, here and use your registered American Express® Card at the locally owned business of your choice. Purchase must be $25 or more. Eligible merchants include any independently owned small businesses that accept the American Express Card. 

When:  The $25+ purchase must be made on Saturday November 27, 2010.

The Small Print (Only Made Larger):  To be eligible for this offer, you must register your American Express Card between November 8, 2010 and November 27, 2010.  You may only register one Card for this offer. Using your registered American Express Card, you must spend $25 or more at participating small business merchants on 11/27/2010 to receive the $25 statement credit. I’ve heard from several happy readers who shared that they made
some fabulous buys and had a blast at the Sharon Young Warehouse
Summer Clothes Sale last weekend.   Thanks everyone for
sharing your stories!       

In case you weren’t able to make it (or even if you did), I have some
good news to share ~ the Sharon Young Team has decided to extend
their sale one last day AND has marked everything down to $10!!!           

Why so cheap & why the extra day?
The warehouse desperately needs to make space for all the fall
merchandise that is arriving for their retailers.  After last weekend’s
huge sale, they still have 8,000+ summer pieces left in stock that are
taking up a lot of space.  Unfortunate, but good for the frugal
shopper ~ the savings can’t get much cheaper than this!       

The clothes are beautiful and at $10, it is well worth
the drive to Dallas!

When: August 14, 2010 ~ Saturday – 8:00AM to 3:00PM
Where: 10367 Brockwood Rd ~ Dallas. This is the corporate office
   location. The sale entrance is at this address, in the back.
Do note: This is a manufacturer’s warehouse sale and not a regular 
    retail operation.  There is a large dressing room available to try
    things on if you wish. This is a women only event ~ so husbands,
   guy-friends and kiddos under 12, please stay comfortable at home.

Sneak Preview the Sharon Young Warehouse Sale.
A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned the upcoming Sharon Young Designer Clothes Sale that starts TOMORROW (go here to read) and runs Aug 5-7. I had the opportunity to make a preview visit and tour the sale and can tell you that it is well worth the drive across the county line to Dallas!  

While on my tour, I shot some video of the great folks at the
Sharon Young corporate offices (what a fun team!).
The video is just a couple of minutes long and hopefully gives you a good idea of the goodies in store at the summer sale.

offers a HUGE selection of ladies clothes.
The clothes are gorgeous top designer quality and the sizes, styles and
collections span a huge variety. There are LOTS of bargains to choose from, with over 18,000 pieces, 50 to 75% OFF (ranging in price from $20 to $50) ~ collections you’ll only find at higher end ladies boutiques!
