Free Document Shredding Event Saturday — at Better Business Bureau Fort Worth

On Saturday, April 18, 2015 (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM), the Fort Worth Better Business Bureau will host FREE on-site shredding, electronic recycling, plus tips to protect your identity.  Bring up to two boxes worth of sensitive documents to have shredded right in front of you, all for FREE!

“BBB of Fort Worth wants to help consumers and businesses keep sensitive information out of the hands of identity thieves,” said Larry Taylor, BBB of Fort Worth CEO. “Recent data breaches at major retailers and online security is making it increasingly important for consumers and businesses to protect their private information and dispose of it in a secure manner.”

According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), identity theft topped the list of complaints received by the agency, with over 290,000 ID theft complaints reported.

Saturday, April 18 – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: 1300 Summit Avenue in Fort Worth (In front of the Frost Building)  OR 1779 N. Graham in Stephenville (Behind the gym)
Additional Details: No Batteries, binders, binder clips, CDs, floppy discs or plastics will be accepted. Upon arrival, attendees are asked to remain in their vehicle and follow the directional signs for entering and exiting the parking lot.
