President’s Day Weekend (February 14-16), enjoy 1000s of U.S. National Parks, Historical Sites, and other national scenic and recreational areas for FREE! This special fee-free weekend, is sponsored by the U.S. National Parks service and is only offered a few times a year (see other dates below).
Do note that not all National Parks managed areas charge admission fees, but those that do will waive their costs these days (such as $20 a car at Big Bend or $25 a car at the Grand Canyon or Yellowstone National Park).
