:: Fort Worth’s 2012 Fall Gallery Night
…Saturday ~ September 8
Fort Worth’s annual Fall Gallery Night is a FREE, “Open House” event across over 40 locations in the Fort Worth area. Participating venues include all types, from the legendary Fort Worth museums in the cultural district to the chic art gallery showrooms of the south side ~ all in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Even BRIT joins the celebration of our community’s cultural richness and visual arts with their Art and Science of Botany event.
Many locations will host live music and light h’ors d’oeuvres, and you’ll have the opportunity to mingle with many of the featured artists.

:: FREE Concert Series at the Levitt Pavilion in Arlington
…Saturday and Sunday ~ September 8 & 9
Join your family and friends for a FREE concert at the Levitt Pavilion in Arlington – part of the Fall series of free music, dance and performing arts under the stars. The entertainment schedule includes a wide span of music genres including jazz, country and even reggae.
The Saturday evening concert (Sept. 8) features 35-time recording artist and Texas Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, Johnny Rodriguez. Switching gears, Sunday’s concert (Sept. 9) brings Danny Wright and his soothing piano compositions to the stage.

Preservation is the Art of the City is a 2-week public art show and sale featuring jury-selected artists. This non-profit gallery promotes and supports local studio artists as well as historic preservation in Fort Worth.
