Enjoy a fun evening with your family and friends at Friday on the Green, a FREE monthly live music series sponsored by Fort Worth South. Bring your blankets and chairs (and even Fido if you want), and enjoy an evening of live music from great bands in a relaxing setting.

Friday nights over Grapevine Lake will sparkle with spectacular fireworks each Friday through the summer, now through Labor day. If you want to add some extra fun to your family evening, plan to view the fireworks from the Gaylord Texan Resort parking garage roof ~ a great viewing platform. They will have a music DJ, games for kids, giveaways, and food and beverages for purchase.

Join the Fort Worth Central Library for a free showing of the fun children’s movie Holes on Saturday, July 14. This event is part of the Central Library’s Second Saturday Film Series which runs monthly family friendly movies through the end of the year.
About the movie: A wrongfully convicted boy is sent to a detention camp, where the boys are required to dig holes. Slowly, he realizes there is something very wrong with the camp, and starts his own digging – for the truth. Based on the award-winning novel. Rated PG. 118 minutes.

The Kimbell Art Museum and Blue Bell Ice Cream present “Ice Cream Sunday,” a free event at the museum to celebrate National Ice Cream Day. Visitors will enjoy an afternoon escape from the Texas heat to explore the galleries and savor a free scoop of ice cream. Docent-Guided tours for families, as well as children’s movies are scheduled from Noon to 3PM. Admission to the Museum’s permanent collection is always FREE.
