In the archives of the Fort Worth Central Library are more than 10,000 items pertaining to the history of Fort Worth and Tarrant County. This sprawling exhibit allows the public to get a rare look at some of these materials. Items on display include historic photos, posters and maps, video footage, rare books and other historic materials.

The classic story of Wizard of Oz is brought to life onstage at Artisan Theater. Spunky Dorothy finds herself over the rainbow and in plenty of trouble as she tries to find her way back home to Kansas. As Munchkins, children in the audience are invited to oil the Tin Man, stuff the Scarecrow and hide Dorothy and her dog, Toto, from the Wicked Witch of the West!

them learn a new woodworking skill and make a FREE Race Car to take home.
Each Kids Workshop participant will receive a kid-sized orange apron
(similar to a Home Depot associate apron) and an achievement pin. All
workshops are free, but you should probably show up early to insure
you have a kit for your little ones.
