Blog DISCLOSURE and Policies

This policy is valid from May 26, 2009.

This blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards and is a personal blog written and edited by me. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own.We believe in honesty of relationship, opinion, and identity.

Frugal in Fort Worth blog content contains links to other companies, their products, and their websites. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question. While I seek to provide helpful and accurate information and link only to those organizations that have the highest standards of integrity, I am not responsible for those companies’ claims; employees actions; products; accuracy of the content on their website or other corporate communications; fulfillment of giveaways, contests or other promotions; their privacy practices; their web security; or any other form of their business practices. Any information that you give to other companies, through their websites or in any other format, is done at your own risk (we always advise reading a company’s privacy policy before giving them any personal information).

The costs to operate the Frugal in Fort Worth blog may be offset and funded by advertisements, affiliate relationships, sponsorships, endorsements, and other forms of compensation. That said, I always have and will continue to only suggest or endorse companies, products, or services if I believe that they would be of benefit or a value to our blog readers. I always give my personal and honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences about the topics and products I choose to write about. If I find a product or service that has helped me personally, I want to let you know about it. If I think it benefits you to tell you to stay away from a service or product, I will tell you that as well. Earning the trust of our readers and conducting our blog with integrity is far more valuable than a few dollars.

Some examples of endorsements that are also affiliate relationships that help fund this site are Amazon, Ebates, Groupon, and LivingSocial. We personally use and recommend each one of these companies, and are associated with their affiliate programs as well. These are great resources for stretching your family expenses, and they help fund the Frugal in Fort Worth blog when you link to them through our blog.
