Fort Worth Fly-In Musicfest!  ~  Saturday, November 7 

                            Fly-In MusicFest 2009

This sounds like a really fun day!  Combine airplanes, live music, fireworks, plus activities for the kids and you get the Fort Worth Fly-In Musicfest. The event will include two stages with non-stop music performed by local musicians (Brave Combo will be featured), Airplane rides, Pancake Breakfast, and more.

Saddle up for fun at Amon Carter’s Family Fun day!
Sunday, November 8

         Amon Carter tours

The Amon Carter museum, a local jewel of a spot, is offering a fun afternoon for the whole family with their program, “Way Out West.” 

Artworks of the American West will come to life for families of all ages through engaging activities and exciting stories. Sunday’s program will offer FREE art-making and other fun activities for kids.

World Championship American Paint Horse Association Show!

Experience quintessential Fort Worth at the World Championship American Paint Horse Association Show!  This year’s show and competition features some of the finest horses and jumping/western riding talents in the country!

Take an Art-FULL Trek to Dallas ~ Saturday, November 7

                        Nasher Sculpture Center, First Saturdays

Activity 1: Nasher Sculpture Center’s First Saturdays Family Fun Day.  The Nasher Sculpture Center and Target present First Saturdays for families.  Held the first Saturday of every month, this special event features FREE admission and a fun schedule of activities for the kids.  For details, including complete schedule and directions to the Nasher, click here.

Activity 2: FREE Family Day at the Crow Collection of Asian Art.  Experience the essence of the Crow Collection during this Family Day. Explore the Wild Flowering family center where young ones can participate in a variety of activities such as “Make your own collection,” “Map the Art,” “Write your own postcard from the exhibition” and more.  FREE Admission.
