Memorial Day kicks off the sixth year of Blue Star Museums, the military appreciation program that connects military families with the cultural resources in their communities. Active duty military and their families can get FREE admission to over 2,000 museums, zoos, and other cultural destinations located around the country, thanks to the Blue Star Museums initiative. The program runs from May 25 through Labor Day, September 7.

P.S. To get the free admission, you will need to show your military ID. The free offer is valid for the military ID holder plus up to five family members. Spouses of deployed military are eligible to take part as well. Go here for helpful information.
