Be sure to mark the 2012 back-to-school tax-free weekend on your calendar to save on clothes, school supplies, and more!

Texas residents receive tax-free shopping benefits August 17-19, 2012 on the following categories:

  • Clothing (under $100)
  • Shoes (under $100)
  • School Supplies (under $100)
  • Backpacks and messenger/book bags for elementary
    and secondary students (under $100 )
  • School supplies under $100 such as binders, crayons,
    paper, and more (see complete list of qualifying school
    supplies here)
