American Express Card Holders: Get $25 When You Shop & Eat Locally on Saturday ~ November 27

In support of locally owned small businesses: American Express is giving its cardholders a $25 statement credit when you make a $25+ purchase at your favorite local stores and restaurants on Small Business Saturday (November 27, 2010).  Availability to participate is limited, so enroll as soon as possible.

How:  To get the $25 Credit, you will need to  enroll, here and use your registered American Express® Card at the locally owned business of your choice. Purchase must be $25 or more. Eligible merchants include any independently owned small businesses that accept the American Express Card. 

When:  The $25+ purchase must be made on Saturday November 27, 2010.

The Small Print (Only Made Larger):  To be eligible for this offer, you must register your American Express Card between November 8, 2010 and November 27, 2010.  You may only register one Card for this offer. Using your registered American Express Card, you must spend $25 or more at participating small business merchants on 11/27/2010 to receive the $25 statement credit. Purchases made online, at large, national chains, at franchised business locations and at government agencies are not eligible.  Registration is limited to the first 100,000 enrollees. Limit one statement credit per Cardmember. Statement credits are generally issued within 5 business days after your qualifying purchase, but may take up to 2 billing cycles to post to your account.
