KTVT Channel 11 Hosts FREE Seminar to Address Cyber-bullying ~ Saturday, February 12th

I really appreciate our city taking the initiative to put together this FREE seminar to help parents, teachers, and others. Please share with others who could benefit from learning more about this important topic.

With concerns about bullying and cyber-bullying on the rise nationally, learn ways to help protect your children at the “Freedom from Fear” panel discussion, scheduled from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 at Summerglen Branch Library, 4205 Basswood Blvd.

Four local experts will give their assessment of the current bullying problem, and explain the new threat of cyber-bullying. The panelists also will discuss the roles of school officials and law enforcement personnel, and offer tips on what you can do as a parent to help protect your child. Panelists are:
