During this weekend’s tax holiday (August 7-9), Texas residents receive tax-free shopping benefits on the following categories:
- Clothing (most items under $100 qualify)
- Shoes (under $100)
- Backpacks and messenger/book bags for elementary
and secondary students (under $100 ) - School supplies under $100 such as binders, crayons,
paper, and more (see complete list of qualifying school
supplies here)
