City of Fort Worth Rain Barrel Promotion ~ FANTASTIC DEAL!

The City of Fort Worth has partnered with Rain Water Solutions to offer 50-gallon, rain barrels for just $58.  We double checked the average prices of similar rain barrels and found this to be a great deal (other versions start at about $100 and go up from there).

New to rain barrel water harvesting?
It’s a pretty simple concept. Water is conserved by capturing rainwater from your house rooftop (your home’s gutter downspout connects to the rain barrel) ~ the harvested water can be used for gardening, lawn irrigation and foundation protection.  Learn more about rain barrel usage and conservation, here.

Here’s how to take advantage of the city’s promotion:

• Order and pre-pay for your rain barrels through the Rain Water Solutions website. Print the confirmation email you receive with the order number and bring it to the pick up event.
• Pick up your rain barrel September 8, between 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden (3220 Botanic Garden Blvd., in the garden center parking lot). Get more details here.
