:: Visit the 55 Foot Christmas Tree and Say Hello to Santa
Sundance Square in Downtown Fort Worth!


Stop by to see Santa at Sundance Square! 
The jolly old elf will be waiting to hear Christmas wishes at his home near
the towering Sundance Square Christmas tree, adorned with thousands
of lights, colorful balls and sparkling snowflakes. Kids can get their
picture taken with Santa too!

Free entertainment and live Christmas music will be performed
throughout the day and evening (see the entertainment

When: Visit the tree any time between now and New Years.
    Santa visiting hours: Friday from 6-9PM,
    Saturday & Sunday from 11AM – 6PM, and
    Monday & Tuesday from 5-8PM
Where: Sundance Square, On Main Street (between 3rd and 4th streets)
Cost: FREE, Photos are $7, with the proceeds to benefit the
    Fort Worth Sister Cities’ Youth Scholarships


:: Christmas on Main Street Event ~ Grapevine
      Friday to Sunday, December 17-19, 2010


The annual event, held on Main in Historic Downtown Grapevine, TX,
features Santa, jolly Christmas characters, complimentary hay rides
and decorations adorning the mile-long stretch of Main Street. Special
guests include: Ellie the Elf, Frosty the Snowman, Santa and his Reindeer!

    Christmas Carol  & More Fun at the Dickens Christmas Event
    Saturday, December 18, 2010 


Join the Central Library in Downtown Fort Worth for a wonderful
afternoon of children’s activities! They’ll have craft tables, face-painting,
a balloon artist, games, story times, refreshments, door prizes, music by
the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra, as well as a 1:00 screening of the movie
The Muppet Christmas Carol. Kids can have their photos taken with a
LIVE reindeer, too! It’s all FREE and open to the public!

Where: In the Youth Center of the Fort Worth Central Library. You can
    park on the street or in the 3rd St. & Taylor Parking Garage.

:: FREE EVENT: Santa Photos & Family Fun at Mrs Baird’s Bakery!
   Friday-Sunday, December 17-19, 2010


Santa Claus is landing his sleigh at Mrs Baird’s in Fort Worth again this
year. This annual Christmas event (which started in 1939), includes
professional color photos with Santa, sweet treats provided by Mrs.
Baird’s, and fun crafts for the kids.

:: Enjoy a Fun Day at the Historic Log Cabin Village With The
    Buttermilk Junction Old Time String Band
    December 18, 2010


Celebrate the holidays Texas Pioneer Village style and enjoy the
delightful sounds of Buttermilk Junction, an Old-Time & Anglo-Celtic
band. You’ll feel like you’ve walked back in time, as you listen to
historical tunes and songs from 1800s era frontier Texas.

Bass Pro Shops is hosting fun daily events for kids, at their Santa’s
Wonderland. The festive events include FREE games and activities,
FREE crafts and a FREE photo with Santa. Activities vary by day.
